Excellent Ann, would be something to see. In the Air and Space Smithsonian Museum Annex about a year ago I got a picture of the Enterprize. I also got many others, some of which are in my UF portfolio if you have time to browse.
Thanks for comment my posting Ann.

Yes I'd like to be able to photograph something like this. I know I get harassed a lot by security and police when I'm photographing. What do you think maybe we need a press pass? Excellent photograph and capture.

Hi, Ann
Again, I find that I prefer the colour version of this shot (though both are fine). Very subjective preference, I guess.
Best wishes,

Hi Ann! You can always come up with some thing new to blow minds right up!The photo itself together with its fine fine about lead my mind to so many different thoughts and topics.one of them was this: Now that your soul mate has retired, don't you think you two should start adding to the number of places you've been to? I'd be more than happy to be your host/guide in this part of this small world! Cheers, baha

I thought you'd be along to see this one Shawn. :) I knew you were an aviation fan. I did also do a B&W version but opted to post the colour. I'll be posting another front on shot of this tomorrow so tune in tomorrow for another angle of this one then you can change that one to B&W too. :)
Cheers - Ann :)

Hi again Ina, I know the desert has some beautiful wild poppy seasons and I have taken some photos of those too. Would love to see yours posted some day.
The aviation interest is in both myself and hubby as we are both pilots and enjoy flying. One day I'll post a photo of hubby's favourite toy. Our little Cessna 150 Texas Taildragger. Being ex NASA guy he did all sorts of weird mods on it so it's a unique aircraft. Even though it looks like a normal plane it isn't performance wise....sorry I'm babbling.
Anyway...I'm surprised this photo generated as much interest as it did but I guess things unearthly do pique people's interests.
Thanks for dropping by and really... there's no need to reply to this message. Sometimes I wish we had private message features for such messages passed between members but I guess that's what Usefilm's chat room is for.
Cheers - Ann :)

Hi Ann, and thanks for identifying them. I have no connection with aviation (other than when I go on vacations) and those things flew above my head, as I was concentrating on some wild flowers this spring. It's great you know so much about them, they are fascinating machines. Love your other pic with flying in the desert, too!

Ina the smaller plane ius an F-16 and the larger one is a modified 747. The funny thing on the nose is a laser turret. IT's for shooting down missiles. So even though they aren't UFO's they were after the aliens to shoot them down. LOL :)
Thanks for posting this. It was interesting to see that funny nosed one. Cheers - Ann :)

Oh no Ina....they weren't planes. They were alien UFO's and now that you have evidence of their existence they will come looking for you. I hear they don't like the cold though so you may be OK up there where you are. LOL :)
Seriously though...why don't you post a photo. Maybe I or someone else can identify them.
Cheers - Ann :)

Great shot Ann, I was wondering how you got that close, but read all about it!. Very impressive! I shot two weird airplanes when in CA, as I was taking pics of flowers in the desert, I have no idea what they were - but sure didn't look like passenger planes.

Lyle...I think if you got your friend's permission and wrote in the "about" that it was your friend who took the actual shot then you're OK to post it. At least that's what I believe. I'm sure there isn't a law against it in here as long as you ahve your friend's permission. I for one would LOVE to see such a photo. Would be great. Thanks for stopping by and for your comment. Cheers - Ann :)

Hi Ann...great shot of the space shuttle. They recently had a shuttle landing at Edwards but I did not learn of it in time to get up there. So, I have a friend whose married to someone working as a crew chief for the shuttle and he sent me a fantastic shot of the shuttle being readied for the piggy back ride to Florida. It was at night with all the lights on it then a bolt of lightning hit a few miles away. A fantastic shot. I wish I could post it. Anyway, I hope to get there when there is another landing. Take care.
