Dear Ina, Sorry because of the delay,I had to ask from a friend! Tabriz Carpet: One of the best in the world... Main specifications:Colors&Textures, usually more than 24 Colors & 45-60 color tones...
About Bokhara: in ancient times the best Carpets(Hand Works!) were made in bokhara in East Azarbaijan,Iran, province... Now it is symbol of old carpets...
Have a nice time dear!

Oooops! Again the worms' job??? What an abstract they created this time!!!!(Somebody might get the idea to catch these worms, put them to work for wages and get rich in the process!!!) The colouring is magnificent!!! Love from Gabriela

Hi Ahmed, thanks for taking the time to comment on each picture. I appreciate it very much, but you can just pick one from a series, and skip the others, it saves you time! I'll be doing more or less the same. That way we see more pictures, and comment only on one that's most representative. Best regards, Ina

Hi Ann, & thanks for the comment . I'd rather have you and other friends comment on an entire series in one comment, than having to say something about each picture (unless there is something very important, good or bad). This makes for fewer comments, but better ones, and gives me a sense of direction, I think. I'm starting to like this idea!

Very beautiful!! The colors are so nice. The sides of the worm eaten leaves look like they are nicely backlit. The colors against the dark background is very nice.

Oh what an interesting decaying subject. the colour makes it look like it's coming to life again. Of the magentaland series I like this one best. Sorry I didn't have time to comment on the others but I did view them. Reminds of the movie Young Frankenstein. IT'S ALIVE!!! It really does have form and movement if you looka tit for long enough. Great creative mind you have there Ina. very interesting shot. Gets the imagination going. I enjoy it. Cheers - Ann :)

My impression of it is on a cosmic level, and how forms repeat themselves in nature.

Ina this is great, I don't know whether to cry or laugh, it's emotional and beautiful, I agree with John it has a human element for me too, could be dancing or screaming in horror over it's loss, I love it, the colors are vivid and the composition is perfect, very well seen!

Hi Susie, I'm glad you like these leaves. I'm afraid that once winter comes, there won't be too many colors - not in plants, anyway. I've got some oak leaves that have psychedelic colors, straight from the camera. Not sure if I should post them, they look so artificial.

Thanks for your nice comments, Mohsen. I had a series of titles in mind inspired by Persian carpets (Bokhara, Tabriz, etc.), but I'm afraid I might not get it right. I have a few pictures coming in reds and browns, and they reminded me of the colors of Oriental rugs.

I can almost sense a human gesture in this leaf.....maybe in a manner expressive of dancing ...... a skeletal dancing leaf? ..... and a festive one because of the way you're handled the color........very nice image.
