...thanks Ian for your comment. If i get you right i agree with you that the chairs shouldn?t be smaller...they are the story as well as the house in the background. No they gonna make a new railroad and also a bigger travelling center.

Ohhh no!!! Would there be more pathos to this if they were smaller (i.e. same background different focal length)? Possibly that'd comfuse things, the chairs a re part of the scene, enjoying their view. My imagination puts a motorway here..

Poor you - that sounds too much Marco! You sound busy though and thats good! Ikea, Annas pepparkakor are my favorite trademark for pepparkakor and the fact that Ikea sells them abroud saved me in Spain :)) I promise to read the book!!!

oh, lucky you... i had a terrible day... yesterday night i had a gig but everything went wrong, today i spent the whole afternoon trying to build up a damn PC keyboard support by IKEA (it works but i made some little mistake, i fear...) and struggling with an horrible headache (and eating annas pepparkor biscuits... from IKEA too...) and now my house looks like a dismantled workshop... at the moment i'm at work in hospital... not a nice day, after all, besides the pepparkor thing... :( good night...

Ciao Marco! I just arrived back home from Sthlm and have had such wonderful day.... photography was one thing, exiting appointment and also an interesting exhibition - also photography! Tired but just HAVE to upload my images to the computer, check emails and .... yes! :)) I also gonna check some posting from my friends as well, even though my bedtime gonna be late because of that.... always the same!
The book you mention i have been thinking about to read for such a long time and now i just HAVE to. But i have red Italo Calvino "Kosmokomik" (the title in Swedish) - it was funny.
Many thanks for your translation Marco - yes you really care.... ;)

i've got something personal against babelfish (in the hitchhikers' guide to the galaxy it was an extremely useful fish that put in the ear allowed you to understand every existing language... altavista's babelfish it's an extremely useless instrument which creates nonsense phrases, wrong words and absurd translations...) so i'll translate for you what alberto baccelli wrote...
"It's difficult to express correcltly in english, a language i use just for short messages, all the things that your photos evocate. so i decided to write in my own language, hoping that you'll be able to translate. Your style is unmistakable, and when i notice a photo among the others, it's very often a new one of yours. light, points of view, atmospheres... they're superb and unmistakable! i don't want to seem a flatterer, my appreciations are sincere. bye and thank you jeanette. alberto"
if something's wrong it's my fault, but i can translate better than babelfish...
ok... now don't say i don't care for you... :)

I love old structures like this. They have so much more character than the new buildings. I am also amazed that some of the graffiters who have so much artistic talent don't use it for good rather than destruction. I love the low angle of this and the colors are excellent!

you're definitely striking the right chords with your last serie! i love this kind of photos (well... you know it!), and i'm alway sad when i think about these wonderful abandoned places being demolished to build something stupid and outrageously new... i love the two chairs in the foreground... you gave them personality (still life, not dead life, isn't it?)... :)

I like the angle close to the ground, you choose Jeanette and finally, the good choice of colored version since, "abandon" is often in B"W version; But the colors, in this one, works well, with the contrats of the green of the wall with the paints on it and the loss of colors of the chairs. This is nicely seen. Congrats Fabrice

Ciao e grazie Jeanette. Alberto.
