hi and thanks for comment...this is a real seaplane in a real almost night sky,but the texture you see is from a pastel effect from a saplet plug-in effect included with paintshop pro8...then i tweaked contrast to bring out more of the cloud faces...

Interesting effect you created here, Gayle! I like the colors and the grain works well for this one. If this is a sizeable crop I am wondering if it might have added a bit of interest if you had rotated it a bit so that the plane was at an angle. Just a thought!
