I love this picture too Gayle. You definitely have talent and I understand the artist thing you talk about. I grew up around an artist, which was my father. He could do anything with his hands. Stunning work, Gayle! The flowers appear infused with a light of their own. Incredible luminescence. The soft mauvy blue colour and velvety texture of the petals is so delicate yet there is an intensity heightened by the dark rich green background. Even though the light has beautifully caught the main stems, the flowers, themselves, seem to be floating. A heartfelt dedication and my thoughts and positive energy are also being sent to Darlene's daughter.
