About "Red Legs"

Hello, This is my first photo post to usefilm.com. I am just starting out in this business, all constructive critiques are welcome. I have been an Art Director in the advertising business for 17 years. I shot this in my basement media room with a D70, Nikon AF 50mm f/1.4 D and one Alien Bees B800. This was my first session shooting with studio strobes. Best regards, John

Hi John, Nice to meet you :) - welcome to UF. The crop on this shot is unusual but it works. The lines flow nicely and the colors are rich.

Klifton,

You are correct, sorry for the "green tint" to the skin tone. I did this with my laptop and neglected to check it on my desktop monitor. I'm having trouble profiling both monitors to match.

Thank you for the color correction, your adjustment is spot on. What were the settings you used?

Regards,
John

Again, not critiquing, I'm just making it to where it looks OK on MY monitor. If I'm off, let me know, so I can make adjustments on my end! :)

Welcome to usefilm!

Great idea!

It may be my monitor, but the skin tone looks a tad green. Again, that may be my issue not yours. But otherwise, great job! Great equipment, too! :)
