This is beautiful! Great capture... such a great expression of 'wonder'.

Outstanding DOF, and composition! Looks amazing in B/W! The details of his jacket... the hand on the sill. so perfect. so timeless.

What a neat little slice of life image. Ah, to have the wonder and imagination of a small child again! The lighting and composition is very effective - I like how the child's face is well lit, yet the left side of his body shifts into shadow, leaving the focus on his face - especially his eyes (where the attention should be!) His hand holding onto the window ledge helps direct our eye to the outside scene where we wonder "What is he looking at" and that takes us full circle back to the child and his eyes. Having the image in black and white helps keep the attention focused on the child in a way that I think colour would not have.

I took a close look at your picture because at first glance it reminded me of one of my images called "Train Ride to Melancholy", though I must say your picture is more captivating to my eyes.
