Thanks Michael. I used a UV and a polarizer for this shot. It was quite late in the day which worked in my favour. I was able to use a longer shutter speed without blowing out to much detail.

Thankyou so very, very much. This is our local lake and water supply.
There are actually cattle yards still beneath the water. I have not seen them as yet. Maybe when the water is lower they might appear. But we have been on water restrictions for a few years now so in a way I am hoping that doesn't happen.

No, I don't have a fisheye. I was perched on a little rock just up from the waters edge. The distortion from the angle that I was at caused this to happen. I thought about cropping it, but liked it, so I left it.

Ahh yes...thankyou for reminding me. I was meant to reply to you the other day but got sidetracked and everything got put on hold. I am the co-ordinator for our area for Autism week and that is taking up a lot of my time at the moment.
I don't eat much meat but my hubby is a steak freak...so we can certainly help you. He is on nightshift at the moment so when he finishes this round I will grab him and tie him to the chair so I can type his answer. I have already spoken to him about it and he started rattling things off for you...but we were kitchen (surprise, surprise) so I told him to wait until we were at the computer. So I will get an email off to you in the next few days if that is okay.

Thanks so much sweetie. I was proud of this one. These are the types of shots I want to get more of...but am limited due to my surroundings. The lake is low at the moment so it is showing some of the discarded logs. But it hasn't gone down enough to see the wooden cattle yards that are under the water. Hopefully in time I will get to see that.
