About	If you have never seen over 50 Eagles in one spot, you need to go to Alaska. and yes I said over 50. I counted 72, different, eagles in a 1/4 mile stretch of beach. unbelieveable!!!!!

Then I've got to go to Alaska at some stage in my life... I am impressed also that you took this with such a short telephoto!

Fantastic photo, Brian. I love the way the eagle is staring straight at the camera even as its colleagues fly overhead, making a nice semi-circular shape.

The scan is not the best in the world, but a great photo none-the-less.

I am surprised you shoot in colour film, as most nature photographers seem to use transparency or digital these days.

Homer Alaska, If you go during the winter months there is an area of the beach on the "spit" where a 80 Year old lady has been feeding them for years. you can't get out of you vehicle but they will land within 10 feet sometimes. it's awsome to see.
