Hello judi my friend , sometimes i put photos on and wish i had not , at the end of the day as long as you like it thats what counts , just look at the awards you have , that speaks volumes for you and your work , dont remove the photo just go on doing what you do best and let everyone enjoy your work... mark ( with a hang over after a great gig with my band lastnight ) hee hee hee hee !!!!!! .. cheers .

Thankyou Ameed. I understand what you are saying and I agree with you. And yes, later on, I probably will look at this image and cringe. But at the time I had intended for this image to have faults to push peoples imagination instead of relying on me to lay it all out for them.
As for Antonios comment...I have seen a couple of good comments in his portfolio, so I know he is capable of it. I honestly think I had offended him and this was his retaliation. That is sad...but that is life!! I never want to offend anyone...it upsets me too much.
I have learnt from your comment and will work on improving my skills.

As you know my dear, learning is a life time process, after a year from now, you might repeat the same Idea, only then by comparing both pictures, you will see how much you have advanced, you would be able to self criticize, but if we get rid of our '' Less Quality '' work, we wont be able to see how far we reached.
I am really glad that my comment is making a difference, I would suggest you to keep it, UF is a place we document our work, trust me, Sometimes i go through my portfolio and just smile, How basic some of my old pictures are and how i thought they were the best in the world by that time ;)
About Antonio's comment, How can i be polite, well don't worry about him, The picture is not fake, there is only some technical points that needs improvement and thats it, The idea is great, i am sure you can try this idea with different composition and it would be just fine .. So don't worry about his comment, Some times good photographers Like Antonio think this skills give him the right to hurt people, i wish i had seen one positive criticism in his comment or advice, other wise, it would've been better to keep his PERSONAL OPINION to himself.
You are doing just good, Without downs, there is no ups, Now get up and get something neat done ;)
BTW, there is lots of photographers hate Paint Shop, Some of them because they believe whatever can't be done in the dark room is not related to Photography, and some because they can't use it hehehe Jealousy, They simply Ignore there is something called Digital Photography, which walks hand in hand with Digital manipulation. So .. it is just misunderstanding ;)

Yes Ameed. I intended for it to be a grab of your imagination. Instead of using your eyes to see the image, I wanted you to see triggers within the image to enable you to use your imagination to be able to see what you want. Obviously this has not been recived in this manner by more than one person. So I ask you....do you think it should be removed. I am sad to know that people cannot use their own creativity to understand a photo and what it is trying to portray. I usually give the whole story within a picture...this time I tried something different. Shame on me!!

Antonio. I respect your honest opinion, but I also feel a little sad that nothing in the image was able to trigger your imagination to something sweet and innocent. Sometimes things do look fake but then you need to look further into the image and think 'why'?. We cannot always rely on our eyes to provide the story, but instead need to look further to see the truth. I get the feeling that I may have offended you with my comment on your image. In no way was that the intention. I do like your images but instead of just saying 'beautiful image' all the time, I like to give some form of constructive criticism as I feel that is the only way we learn. I have learnt from your comment on my image and that is good, I can hope that you view my comments in the same way.

Very nice Idea Judi, I like the idea allot, there is some comments about the composition, in my humble opinion, I think it would be better to use a less busy background, The background is a little distracting to me, The second thing is the hands shadow on the pillow, I think it contradict the natural lighting .. Beside that .. I still like the idea :) Very well done, Regards,

I like the way you captured the girl (yours, I suppose, dear Judi) praying as an anwer to your own prayers.
Thank you for your comments about my "Fantasy with dols" and my "Sunset and chapagne 2." As to my "Faces", I thank you for your comment and your advice, but you have to take into account that I only had three lessons in P.S. so far and at 75 (which I became this week) my hand is not as steady as it used to be.
