Unfortunately Boleros...the hills finished just to the right of the sun itself...so that shor t part of the horizon is just the waterline. There wasn't much I could do about that unless I clones some hills across it...which I felt would destroy the natural look of the image. but in any case, I am pleased you liked it and I appreciate your honesty. That is a rare trait nowadays.

Larry, this lake has 1,146,000 megalitres of water. This particular day was quite windy and I even managed to get waves crashing on the rocks. It was a wonderful experience.
Although the tripod was struggling a bit with the wind especially as I was balanced precariously on the rocks.

I don't understand how I manage to get behind, just no excuse for it....I'm sorry Judo.
Waves on your lake, guess with wind and such a large lake, it would happen, just don't think of it as most lakes and dams in my country are far too small.
This is such a beautiful picture, so warm and peaceful!!

Hehehe...I am pleased James. The only thing is this is freshwater as it is our dam for the town water. It is sitting at about 30% at the moment so we are on water restrictions but it still manages to give me some great photo opportunities.

Kian...on this particular image I only used a UV filter. Today I received my polarizer filter and got to use it about 10 minutes ago. I will hopefully be uploading it shortly.
