Ahh a photo of a bellbird. These have to be one of the nicest sounding birds I have ever had the pleasure to listen to.
During my last trip to NZ I couldn't get shot of a belbird as they were just too elsusive.
Nice crisp focus and interesting contrast with the flowers and snow.
You've got some beautiful dramatic shots of the South Island too.

John, Your portfolio is really wonderful. If there wasn't snow balanced on the limb, I'd think you had rotated the image - since the bird is hanging upside down. I had to think about it for a moment. Very lovely. == Debby
