I grew up on the Southside too 75th st and 114 ave went to Scona high. We are about the same age it seems. I'm 46 and the kids are just leaving home for elsewhere and we are heading for the hills ...I'm not a city guy. As an artist (Painter www.timschumm.com) I can live anywhere to continue to make my living.

I grew up on the south side of edmonton, 61rst ave, and then moved to sherwood park and lived in those two places for about 34 years before coming to Powell river. It is a photograghers dream to live here

yes it is Hornby Island i had lived there for 10 years. And may be moving back there this fall. I'll have to come over to Powell River as well, it's been awhile since being there last. I grew up in Alberta ....Edmonton.

Beautifully composed-paths are one of the photographer's best friends.I think I would have been tempted to hand paint either the sea or sky or both a very delicate shade of blue.Regards Tony
