These are very well presented, the late day sky sets them off beautifully.

Ciprian,

Have you tried the Render>Clouds filter in PS? It is usually my first port of call when I get a shot with a solid gray or white sky (quite a common occurrence in these Isles where we live...)

Also, was there some sea cut out with the sky?

Nonetheless, it is a final image with a lot of impact, great composition (leading lines etc), focus, DOF etc.

Very good.

Arend you are right, this shot has been enhanced. I took it on a pretty overcast day, and even though the camera was mounted on a tripod, it was slightly tilted.

So I did straighten it, and then removed the sky which was white, and replaced it with a sky I shot when I took this photo:

http://www.usefilm.com/image/443384.html

I also played with the contrast a bit and here's the result. I am happy with the way it turned out. Also if you notice I always provide the aperture and shutter speed values for my shots, but not the ones I play within PS.

Thank you all for your comments.

Regards,
Ciprian

Hi, I wondered whether you enhanced the colors and adjust the balance between the foreground and sky? I've got great problems in shooting a picture that is balances in lighting like this one. Please give away your trick!
