I find that bluebells are quite difficult to photograph mainly because of where they grow, shaded areas, difficult lighting.
I have used spot-metering here, had the camera on manual focus and on manual mode.
The aperture was set to F/4.5 and shutter 1/60. Exposure compensation -0.33 EV. The camera was tripod mounted and used a spirit level to make sure it's straight.
I am quite pleased with the result, the is loads of detail everywhere even in the shaded areas.
