hi,i am a big fan of B/W and shadows...smaller uploads back then,eh?...simple image with lovely light/shadows...it looks like a type of raku pottery...i would have liked a darker background, but bet this looks better as a print

This I like very much. Thoroughly charming. I'm glad I looked way back in your portfolio. Too bad Usefilm doesn't have a shuffle feature that lets us show our older works in front of our newest.

Hey Mary Sue...very well done!! I have been trying to think of a Shadows image and am having a hard time with it...then I see your image and realize that with a little imagination something simple can be turned into something very special and unique! Great idea and very well executed....*smile* Maggie

Mary, this is great. Excellent textures, I especially love the cracks in the pot :) Keep them coming.

Oh my, this is wonderful. The play of light on the old crock really makes it something very special. Framing, and the choice of B&W are perfect! I really, really love this. Nice one Mary.

One word mary: Wow.
Didn't know something so ordinary on it's own could be made so beautiful. The plain background works well here, as does the centering.
