i have ordered Apacer CP200 card-to-cd drive .. but i'm not sure if it'll arrive in time!!

Thank you for your kind comments and close observation of my photos. Yes you can. I shall send you an email and give you some information and in case you stay in Tehran, you could get the photos on CD almost anywhere (sometimes even some supermarkets) for a very cheap price.

for me it's a great idea to crop out above nose .. and that cup makes this a successful b&w photo.
Ida .. i'm flying to Iran on 13 July .. i'll stay there for a month. i just wonder how i will back up my cards' content .. Do you think i'll be able to back up my digital photos on CDs in the internet cafes there??

Sensual and evocative! interesting crop but...it's possible that the black it's too dense (it's only my personal opinion)and you loose details. I put this picture in my favourites cause you have captured one big emotion!

WOW! First time I've experienced such feedbacks! Thanks a lot. Dear Hugo, well I like hard contrast a lot. But I agree it's a bit flat. For those wondering well the picture is taken in a Cafe in Tehran, where I attend almost every evening or night. As Andrea mentioned, croping out the man in the background could have heleped, but the image would have lost the Cafe atmosphere. Thanks all again! I better think of a better profile!

Hi Ida, I like the atmosphere in this shot. I only think the contrast is a bit too hard, as IMHO it removes too much of the textures and seems to flatten the image a bit. Other than that, I think it is a very intriguing composition, the fact that your face is only partially visible creates te needed tension to this shot, and emphasises the atmosphere. (as does the hard contrast, and it being too hard (photographically) is a personal oppinion)
