Camps Bay, South Africa. This is a blue bottle jellyfish. They wash up on the beach and have long thin tentacles with stingers on the end (the bodies don't sting). They are a brutal obstacle for the serious frisbee player. They pop like little ballons when you step on them, and startle you before the sting even sets in... Most are between one and three inches (tentacles are longer, maybe a foot or so...) (for Nancy Brown)
