Cross country trail in Spruce Woods Park, Manitoba, Canada. Abut 5 km from desert. Only sounds are birds and crunch of skis. The sky ois not always deep blue in Sunny Manitoba
Russ, we don't have much snow yet but I will try to remember your idea an take another shot with less snow in front. I have some other shots of the area that you would like. I will have my friend scan some more. Thanks for reminding me that somewhere in the world it is 80 degrees. Stop bragging. But you can't ski! We also have outdoor ice rinks at the Park. A sunny day -40, lights at rink side, abig pot on the potbelly stove, brewing up some mulled wine, What could be better.
Brr! It's 80 degrees F here in Phoenix and I can't imagine anyplace being cold. But this looks it. Can you go back to this spot again? I'd like to see less of the bare snow in the foreground and more of the tops of the trees.
You would love this part of Canda. It is so flat you can see England from here. Vince, you missed one feeling.... and that feeling is no feeling in your feet whenit hits -45 degrees
The more I look at your pictures, Les, the more I'm tempted to visit Manitoba. It's not a place we see often here, but it's obviously beautiful, even in winter. :)
This shot makes me miss Winter with the fireplace, great food, snowball fights with the kids and walking the dogs. Thanks. I can almost smell the pines. Nice job!
