The softness achieved with the gaussian blur adds such a wonderful touch... it feels very personal. Remember to check all the frame before hitting the shutter... the chopped off ear is a bit distracting and it looks like the frame wouldn't have had to be adjusted too much to get the rest of it in. Still, it's a nice shot... very comfy / cozy with nice catchlights in his eyes. There is just enough detail on the left side of his face. Love the tones throughout... the blacks look black and the whites aren't blown out. One for the wall!
