This image works for me, as is. Wonderful monochromatic composition!

this is really good spencer...i agree on the contrast in the lower one..it makes it more dramatic for sure.. the photo is already dramatic as is and is fine though.. i suppose that is a matter of taste.. good eye and well done... ps,
their eyes are closed because i asked them to smooch... and caught them before the smootch witch i always find interesting in its own right.. take good care sweety.. :) sandy

I agree, you definitely need to tweak the curves. But the composition is great, it's just that more can be done to bring it to life.

still a great picture but i agree with Elin - for my own taste harder contrast would be grand :)

To answer your question.. I couldn't come up with a good title that wasn't cliche or cheesy... so I just decided against it. The intent was to create that "around a fire" lighting..(Like ghost stories around a campfire) So the only lighting I used was candle light. Thanks for the comments.. greatly appreciated!

not so sure about the sharper contrast: it gets way too abstract then, missing the title&intention (nothing against abstracts, btw:) : fine as it is, I mean

Elin..Thanks for the suggestion.. I was hoping someone would comment on the contrast. I had real trouble deciding on the contrast.. How's this? (By the way, great portfolio!)
