very unflattering angle, her eyes look crossed and she has the nose of an alcoholic. seems she has more problems than that. yes - I'm a smoker, and I would be offended if someone used me as a poster child by choosing a photo that did not do me justice. I'd rather see something head on of her choking on her own smoke, I realize that it's not good for my body, my appearance, etc... but... this should be about the person and not the habit since there isn't a cigarette in sight.

so wait let me get this straight. you do a knock up ps job with the whole blur/sharpen/burn/whatever tools (a shitty one at that), make someone look really horrible, then label it "cigarette smoker" and for what, andrew? what's your point? you don't like smokers? let me tell ya something. just because you don't believe in something that someone else does just because it's different from something that YOU do doesn't give you the right to totally slander that person/a group of people. well no i take that back, it's america, you have the freedom to do whatever you want. but let me ask you, does this person that you took a picture of know that you portrayed them in such a poor way? and either way, don't you think that you could progress past the 3rd grade level of juvenile teasing and learn to respect people despite their addictions or the fact that they live differently than you? this photo is just spiteful. maybe you should try looking in the mirror before portraying someone in such a crap way as this.

it's an exellent portrait Andrew - don't understand a series about cigarette smokers - like doing a series about vegetarians or diabetics or guys that dress to the left - are they soooo different?
this girl looks as if she's had a rave or two recently..

it is a nice shot and she looks like a real person
a human....
i am thinking she must drink also? no?
clear shot am wondering if you added an effects to her nose?
nice portrait...i do not base my opinion of how good a portrait is due to their looks...
but due to the person behind the looks...
i like it most of all because it is real...
