And I have to thank you for the epiphany. I think I've gained a new perspective on what I post. So far, it's been mostly pictures I personally enjoy. I need to change my goal and gain what I can in learning experience.
Sue: That?s a very good point indeed. You are right ? there is more of a personal reference here. It?s like a useless beat-up trinket you carry around in your pocket and people laugh at it. Yet for you, that trinket?s [sentimental] value is though the roof. I don?t expect everyone (or anyone for that matter) to like (or dislike) this particular in the same way I do since I like it for different, more personal, I suppose, reasons. It?s almost like bad poetry. Well, then, thanks for the insightful comment. And yes ? wrong category. A.
In order for someone to like a photo or even be attracted to it, it has to touch some cord in the psyche, even if it is as non-sensical as the shadow of a fire escape on the side of a building. Perhaps I lack imagination (which I don't believe - lacking taste, maybe, but imagination? Nope), but to me, I can't turn this into something I want to know more about. It's nothing personal, Andrei. Just a personal epiphany developed by this photo.
However, if I've missed something, please let me know. I come to this site to learn.
Also, why is it under "TRANSPORTATION"? Did you mean "TRAVEL" instead?
