An awesome composition with incredible details to this hippo. The tones are superb and you seized the optimum moment for the shot. Well done to you Dan, great stuff.
We are currently following a TV series, 'the Lion Man' filmed in Northern NZ featuring lions and tigers kept and raised by one of your countrymen. It is a fascinating programme.
