Hi Michele - this is wonderful, beautiful clarity, color and composition. Crisp and detailed with a sort of grandular quality to the snow. (Is grandular a word -- maybe I mean grandulated, like individual grains of sugar).

The warm and the cold so beautifully combined. I know he snow is real. We live in a very snowy area. I don't mind the snow. It can be so very gorgeous. However, we could do without the extra cold we are having. Your rose reminds me both of the beauty there is in winter and the promise of the beauty that will come back in the spring when the flowers begin again to bloom.

I can empathise with you sweetie, my new computer (three weeks old now) is still having teething problems.
I was just tinkering around trying to right wrongs when I saw your message come in, hence an early answer.
I posted my last image for 2008 earlier today with my year end message for all but I will be flitting about in UF tomorrow (Monday) to deliver probably my last comments for the year and to say my thankyous for recent comments given to me. I will be back early in January on a massive catch-up with all those who post non-stop through the festivities, I wish I could find the time but there are just too many things to attend to.
I shall probably 'see' you on my travels tomorrow sweet Michele, in the meanwhile I send a HUUUGE HUUUUUG and my very best wishes as always.....Ray X

WOOOOOOOOOOW...this shot is sooo amazing my dear!!!Great composition and a beautiful contrast!So you will have your first snow this weekend as well...it is nice when you don't have to drive and when it is dry and cold.But here it is wet and cold..not nice.At the moment we don't have snow but again expected for next week!
