I am soo glad you like this one-- It's so hard to guess what people will like- at least it is for me in new catagories...& sometimes old ones too!! But this one was a lot of fun-- Makes me laugh every day too !!!

Love this candid Michele . . . the BG has so much interest and says so much too . . . love of life and fascination and interest in all the aspects that come with it. Great timing and expressions and good fill flash that doesn't make the BG too dark . . .
Yep . . . strong wills run through the women in your family . . . youself included. I wouldn't want to get your mother angry at me, she looks like she could hold her own . . . and since she survived you two daughters . . . well . . . 'nuff said!

Love this shot! Lots of sharp, interesting items in the background also keeps the viewer entertained as well as the main subject. Very warm and cozy, even with the stand-off going on.

Every Saturday D & I go grocery shopping at 7AM. We take the cameras. 7AM is pretty early on a Saturday and most people are not out and about yet.....what more perfect timing for a UFO to come check us out????? Thus the camera's in hand just in case an opportunity arises. Just the other day I picked up D at work and yelled out...."get in, upside down car on the freeway". Fortunately did not look like anyone seriously hurt, but he got great shots of the emergency vehicles and the upside down car. I think D sleeps with his. The girls in my office sometimes see a hummingbird outside our window and they start yelling "Marlyce get your camera......hurry". You should see their face drop when I say "left it home today". I fully understand the camera is part of the wardrobe....more so than makeup or matching socks---and that is no laughing matter. Have a great day and so glad to see your pictures looking so well.

OMG - I wasn't even paying attention - BUT that is just a FACT Marlyce, lol !! My boss just shakes his head when I walk in the door to work...guess I can't blame him !!!!

Michele -- I like your explanation about the differing points of view and how you faded into the woodwork taking pictures. Very amusing. They are probably both strong willed. I also like the context of the photo; showing the home environs. It could have been entitled "Women in the Wilds of Oregon" or "Pioneer Women". LOL.
The Egyptian Mummy overlooking the scene adds something special to the picture too. People pictures are so much fun!
