About Yet another one with the light cube and the shell. This time for a darker silhouette of the top of the shell as it is illuminated from bellow. Any comments would be very welcome.

Thanks a lot for the explanation, Vandi!

It would be the same result if turning the camera and using some other point of view instead. I add an attachment for a better visual representation of what your idea could look like.

Cheers!

Rotated it 45° counter clockwise for a visual idea of Vandi's suggestion

Hi Nick.
I mean, I would have rotated the cube as to make it more symmetrical.

The details are less now as it was illuminated from bellowe and captured form above, Vandy, that's true. A more detailed shell in this case.. how to get that? I must think of a secondary weaker light source over the cube, in order to preserve the darker look of the shell (for contrast to the cube itself) bit still hive it some more detailed look. Let me try.

About "more symmetrci" view of the light cube. Do you mean I should rotate it?

Cheers and thanks a lot!

Sunset Man, or whatever your name might be, which you camouflage using yet another childish peseudonym:

1) For the time being I have absolutely no need neither interest to take your mini-micro-images as some kind of example for my work. When I need your help, I'll tell you so. Until then you can regard your advertisment about your own "skills" and "help" as mediocre calls for ackowledgement, which I will certainly not give you.

2) Don't try to pretend that you have any intellectual qualities by using words that you don't even understand in your messages. In other words, give that salad of meanings in your message to some good english teacher and listen to what he/she might say.

That's the only thing I missed, really! To take advice from some voodoo-child. You know, I don't mess up with mediocre minds. You want acknowledgment? Find it somewhere else and not by me!

And BTW, stop complaining about people that tell you what you are. You enforce that impression by yourself.

Cheers!

Thanks a lot for the nice comment, Shyamal!

Well, I was rather for the "cleanly ordered" thing here, but of course I am glad if you find the chaos that you like herein. ;-)

Cheers!

Excellent work, Nick.
Probably I prefer a more symmetric view of the light cube and some more details of shell.

Best regards,
Vandi

If you ever feel, think, know, and/or believe according to your own personal 'Kundalini' advancement metaphysically or otherwise that you may require and/or desire assistance in photographing this genre of specimens then please do not hesitate to ask per this link especially that my topographical environment allows me numerous opportunities on a daily tropical basis:

Hi Nick,

Brilliant crop on my hands&feet picture, I really prefer it.

Of your lightcube/shell set, I think this one is my favorite, perhaps because I am a fan of chaos represented in lines going all directions, and this one satisfies me the most.
