jayson.. here is what i have done with your image.. i applied Auto Levels, and in Layers (as in Digital Polarizer tutorial) applied changes.. here is your resulting image.. tell me if you like it.. it took me less than a minute to make the changes..

a good approach to the beach.. however.. i would like you to see apply.. auto levels, try variations in Image > Variations in Photoshop. Please read the tutorial on UseFilm in using Digital Polarizer.. I think that would definately benefit your image.. by increasing blue colors for your sky as well as water... (example).. if you don't have photoshop, then download GIMP for free.. at http://www.gimp.org/ hope it helps... happy clickings..
