heaps of colour noise in this photo, i'm surprised you didn't take advantage of the filter in photoshop to eliminate this.
remember, the attachment is a JPEG of a JPEG.

Thanks Petros, yeah I see what you mean about the sky - but I think its a great solid backdrop for those rocks in the distance and helps overall to hold your attention on the waves? Always happy to hear your thoughts :)

OK, here's what I like: Your choice of shutter speed is spot on. Composition is very good as well.
What I don't like: the sky. It feels blunt, almost as if it's added/changed in PS.
Overall, I like this one. Good job Peta :-)

Beautiful image Peta. Lovely soft tones and side lighting. The compressed perspective from the telephoto lens really suits the image - almost seems to stack the background on to the foreground.
