Well Peta, My Two cents worth would be...AWESOME Job, Your subject being the Cathedral Spires, any other Composition would have taken the focus away from your subject and allowed to wander aimlessly through the shot. I have scrolled away from the shot and then back again about 50 times and every time I find my eyes viewing the entire Cathedral structure. I also feel the the contrasts in the colors between the BG building and the cathedral helps keep the eyes focused were your want them.
You did an Awesome job my friend~7/7

ohh my.......this is great.
perfect time of day & perfect lighting. I think the composition works well....the chopped off Eureka fills the frame nicely. If you had left it in fully, there would have been too make space which would have taken away from the juxtaposition of the mixed artchitecture styles.
