you are very welcome,Marlyce!...the more i look at this the more it appeals to me...would love to print this one and hang on my wall amongst a few others i have from previous members...we can do an exchange...choose anything i have displayed and i will check to see if i have a high res copy...i used to only scan prints before i learned about transfering directly to CD at the lab,so when my ex and i split 2 1/2 yrs. ago,all of my scans were lost from his puter and i am gradually finding the original prints which i will re-scan at some point... regards,gayle

the quality of light with the mist and textures remind me of the older naturalist paintings...love the almost monochromatic palette and the ducks seem contented in their haven...very appealing image...regards,gayle

Thank you Peter. I only had to jump out the car take the picture and jump back in.......no 11 hours in a blind in the snow for me......I would freeze! your shots are beautiful.

Thanks Annemette........not much chance of seeing a deer here, it is all fenced in and right next to the road.........not to mention deer are very scarce in the city, but it is not missing much else.

Excellent capture Marlyce. The mist certainly adds nicely to the mood. I like the patterns that the rushes make, some lying on the ground other at swooping angles. The darker branches and leaves on the right and the top anchor and frame the image nicely. Very well done.
