Nice shot. Although I have never been to Cincinnati but I suspect you have captured the essence of the city in the winter very well.
Leonie you can get the miniature effect by using a shallow dof on shots which are normally shot with a deep dof. Maybe we are seeing of that in this image. The middle foreground is the sharpest part of the image.

Larry...:) Somehow this looks like a city in miniature... Not sure why, maybe the because the buildings in the foreground are colourful block shapes... or the tones of the trees... :) Waiting for the miniature train to wander through the scene... :) A compliment not a negative...:)
