About One of my favourite Wedding shoots. I just had to post this image. The length of this bride's (double) veil is amazing. I'm surprised she didn't trip over it! :)

Thank you Dear Mary.

I am glad you see this as "unposed", though it was posed! Oddly, many candids appear to be posed, and many posed shots appear to be candid... hmmm...

Your thoughtful comments are warmly received and appreciated,
Aniko :)

Great moment beautifully captured and in a way that is not false and posed. So real and natural- reassuring!

Sweet Shirley....
Indeed I have no time to rush with my promise to you. I am very busy right now... but I WILL find you a special image, my romantic friend :)

This is an excellent wedding photo, Ani. also a wonderful way to capture the extent of some of the wonderful wedding gowns that brides wear.
Good use of sfx film to get that textured look.

Hugs Colin :)

Oh my, Dear Shirley!

LOL! Yes that is the groom. :)
I have enough photos of him kissing her on the mouth, (or is it more correct to say of them kissing each other's mouths...???) Those shots work better closer in. Oddly, the bride was not as keen on those shots being made and few could be captured candidly.... She was the princess for the day and didn't want her makeup ruined I guess! Don't know for sure.

This shot was more a "record" of the church (a location shot, and also I shot another of the entire church... a grand old building...) and had he been kissing her mouth here, we would not have much of him at all against that dark door!

I also wanted to show her elaborate attire and the best way was to have her on the top step in profile. Had he not been there (can you even see that he wearing a kilt? Difficult against that door...) then she would have looked pretty small and lonely... even with the expanse of fabric she is flaunting.(She did look totally stunning I admit... )

I will find kissing on mouth images for you Shirley! Probably from this shoot, as it was quite an amazing one and I burnt a huge amount of film, most of which worked out fine! :)If not from this shoot, I have enough weddings (under my belt after all these years) to find you the one you will most love... and I will post it just for you Dear Shirley!

Bless your heart sweet friend.
Aniko :)

This is very sweet, but he's kissing her on the FOREHEAD and not the mouth. I like kisses on the MOUTH.;) That IS the groom...?

:) Paul!

I use photoshop 7.

I really DO appreciate your help. No one taught me photoshop... I just "play"... lol...

Now I have to go see if PS7 has the tool you mentioned!

Ani :)

Thanks Paul... I forgot I knew how to use that function 'til you reminded me. I just did another one at 1.5...

Wedding shoots are so rushed... I had hoped at the time I had the one and only shot of that set up (while parents and the rest of the wedding guests wanted the couple... aaaarrgghhh!) fairly "straight" as a grab hand held.

Thanks for your help Paul :)

Spot on, sweetie.
So, do you use PSP or Photoshop (can't remember).
If PS, then there's an automated tool in
Filter > Distort > Lens Correction.

I just did a 1.5 ccw rotation... 2 was too much...

Hmmm.... what do you think?

Great framing, Ani, but the arch needs a one or two degree rotation counterclockwise.
