Greeting Angela, Very beautiful image, excellent perspective. I love lighthouse shots. My only suggestion / observation is if you take out the people, you should also remove them from the reflection. That very little bit of blue in the reflection by the window looks out of place when compared to the solid red of the little building, I like how you have captured a bit of the house and chimney in the reflection as well, Fine work and you have some wonderful shot of this lighthouse. I enjoy looking at your work, best regards, Sandra

My favourite part of this whole image is the reflection in the pool of water in the rocks. I think your exposure of the sky is perfect too. Awesome photo, keep up the good work.

Thanks for your critique, Joe. I did what you suggested (I think). Like this one better?

Heck of a sharp, interesting photo, from the foreground line and texture, that reflection, and which draws your eye to the structures up top. If anything, I'd crop even a little more, what would appear to be five feet above the rightmost tree and through the center of the right outcrop to further emphasize the compositional diagonal and put the reflection on the 'power point' lower right. It's very well done, with a good eye for an interesting scene.

Neil and Paula,
Thanks for your comments on the perspective. I actually did try going lower and higher (shot about 100 frames here). Going lower wasn't really possible, as I lost a lot of the lighthouse and the reflection of the lighthouse. I have one somewhere for a similar trip where the whole frame is the reflection in the puddle and another where it's just the clouds from the sky. Both neat too. I'll have to dig them up. (pre-digital days).
Thanks for your comments. Here's another perspective. No time to Photoshop the people out of this one.

Very dramtic, i like the texture on all the rock, the viewpoint is right because if you got lower you would lose the bottom of the buildings especially on the right. Its a shame the sky has no cloud because i think it would add a bit more detail.

Nice shot, Angela, but I think you should have gotten lower and closer to the pool of water.

Great image, very unusual to have a reflective shot in that little of a body of water. The lines of the rock pull you up toward the lighthouse.
