Thanks for the advice, Bill. Straight horizons are one thing I need to work on! :) I'd also like to figure out how to add some light to that dark corner of the fence. I'm new to Photoshop.

I like the strong foreground elements and the passing boats but find the large sky and cloud fraction to be a bit too distracting. Also the horizon line is a bit tilted. Let me know what you think of my version of your image. Horizon straightened and cropped.

Hadn't noticed the horizon was off in this and the one looking out the window. Suppose I can fix that in a few minutes of work. Thanks for the advice. I'll post more when my 24 hours are up. :)

Really a great shot of the Maine coast using the fence in the foreground with its perspective is great. I would have slightly straightened out the horizon. Colours are rich. Well done and best regards.

The shade is from the lighthouse tower itself. :) I'll have to try at a different time of day next time. Thanks for your comments.
