Thank you very much, Theresa! The whole series is, as already said, 24mm, 1/2000s, f/11 to f/16 - on a very sunny day. I am glad you like them.

Regards,

Nick

This whole series is really beautiful..and full of a deeper beauty than one sees at first sight.

Thank you very much, Andre! Fantasy landscape is the right word, and indeed I had something similar in mind when I was shoting the series.

Many thanks again and take care,

Nick

Many thanks, Rina! For such photos I measure light at a single spot at a very very bright point on a sunny day, and so the exposition time gets very short. Anything not as bright as the brightest points is then very very dark, resulting in this very special atmosphere that is not exactly day and not exactly night.

And don't even mention the delays of comments, Rina. I am even more delayed - shamefully delayed - to comment the work of the nice people here.

I like this one Nick. I think the image noise works well in this case. I think I prefer this one over the others in the series. It seems more natural to go from left to right for some reason. This style of landscape reminds me of the kind of illustrations in fantasy, graphic comics.
Good job!

Wow, so very dark and yet very beautiful detail. Excellent work on the series, this one is my favourite. The composition feels better here than in the others.

Well done Nick. Apologies too, for shamefully neglecting your portfolio for so long...

Cheers
Rina.
