I enclosed the cropped image, but I rather think that in this case it is not just cropping. I guess I should have taken the whole scene in such a way that the column is at the right - or at the left.

very nice, like the dof and the muted tones. Very nice image. Since you're asking though :), I think cropping it so that the column is to the right rather than in the middle would have a nice effect too.
