About Another one with a tree shadow in winter. What I am happy with: The strong shadow. What I am not happy at all with: All the rest. So, how to enhance this? Different composition, angle, lighting, or what?

Same impression for me too, Aziz! So, I must try such an image with a vertical orientation again.

Thanks a bunch!

I'd say that a vertical frame would be better, Vandi, thanks to Aziz that brought me into that idea.

But I am glad if you like it this way.

Cheers!

Thanks a lot Indranil!

Now I think, as Aziz also said, that a vertical frame would fit better.

Cheers!

You're very welcome.
Yes this one is much better.

Thanks a lot, Aziz! I cropped it for "simulating" the vertical frame (attachment), and yes! This would certainly be much better! Thank you very much for that! Now, as you also said, a small underexposure too, and I guess it will develop to something special!

Thank you very very much!!!

Crop for simulating a vertical frame after Aziz' idea

Thanks a lot, Dave!

I think that the symmetry is a big too... symmetric for me. I don't know exactly but I think of a less centered shot.

Cheers!

Very beautiful shadow, with great contrast and colors.

All the best,
Vandi

I like the richness of this image. Strong colour with strong shadow. Great combination. Nice catch :)

Cheers!

May be a vertical frame would be better. I like the pov and position of the main shadow. Darkening will exhibit it as a big groove.

I like the light and shadow play here, Nick and the symmetrical appearance of the shadow.
Dave.
