Yes, you are right. I use often the Tokina 28-70m, or the Cannon 24mm SSC, coming very close to the subject and focusing either solely the near field, or infinity, or using the smallest possible or the greatest possible apperture of these lenses. The results are somehow... unusual and strange, but I like them very much.
Best wishes and thank you for the great comment.

I agree with you with that point. Wide angle + Macro + bigger apperture make the the background looks blur, bringing out the feeling of being close to the subject (too bad I has no SLR yet, really wish to experiment with wide angle). It is such an interesting feeling what a picture can bring to us. And I also think that "A lake of water and one of flowers" was also taken the same way.
My best regards.

Alicia, usted debe quizás intentar un granangular en lugar de un macr. Da a veces resultados muy interesantes, como éste aquí.
¡Grandes gracias por su gran comentario!

Many thanks for the great comment, Painsama. I hope I'll be able to do more of this kind in future. I discover that using a wide angle the way we use a macro lens can do very interesting things. (Like for example at "Grace under clouds", which would be completely different if done with a macro lens.)
Cheers!

Such a very beautiful place to be. Wish that I can be there. The composition successfully bring the viewers to the place in the picture. It feels like sitting there in the lush of growth of flowers and greens. Very nice. Best regards.
