....a pleasant, well balanced and executed seascape Enzo that (here I go again), imao, would benefit if you moved the horizon nearer the top of the picture so that the sky fills one third or less of the shot.....this will lend more impact to the scene, nice work. cheers, david.

Congratulations on your choice as Photographer of the Day. They've chosen a really beautiful shot to represent your portfolio. Well done!!! Steve Since this is a Critiquer's Corner image, I want to add that I think you can give the photo more impact by playing around with the lighting and contrast a bit to bring out the foreground somewhat and increas the drama of the background. I did a quick rendering to illustrate my point:

Hi Enzo, what a magnificent scene and atmosphere. It captures the Cork coatline exactly as I remember it, and makes for an awesome seaskape. Very nice and tranquil.
The composition is alos pretty neat, using the seaweed covered rock and the flow patterns in the sand as build up for the strip of coast, as well as showing a strip of sea. As far as I'm conserned, this is top notch!
One minor thing could be that compared to the soft and light colours in the sky, the foreground looks a bit dark; a bit of selective masking could solve this easily, though.
I really like this photo, very well captured.
Cheers,
Hugo

The colors are very nice - muted and subtle. I like how the sky is reflected in the tide pools and the color of the algae on the rocks. Compositionally, I wonder if moving to the right would have given more a perspective down along the pilings. A very nice shot. Keep up the doog work!
