Better late than never I guess huh Ina? I'm working my way back through your portfolio catching up with those I missed while I was away.
I love this little guy. I've never seen a guard Rhino before but I certainly wouldn't argue with such security. Think he was sleeping on the job though. (haha) This is so bizarre it's brilliant. A great work Ina. I really enjoyed this one.
Thanks also for dropping by my Penguin image. I hadn't noticed he was wearing a tie but that's good. He should be in formal attire as he is a concerto pianist after all. (haha) Thanks for your great comments as always. Always enjoy your visits.

Ina,
I've never been to one of those. But I'll bet the lions there don't look as healthy as the ones in the Toronto Zoo. Check out the couple of posts on my recent page. "Dignity" and "Dignity #2"

Hi Ina,
It seems most of the animals get themselves in the most unphotogenic positions they possibly can. I hate those wire fences and the smeared, scratched plexiglass that they put up. Some of the exhibits are much better than others for camera work. The rhino was not working the day we were there. He must have been on vacation or something :)

Hi Andre, and thanks for your comment. I found it difficult too to get good shots at the TO Zoo, mainly because of the wire fences, with a few exceptions. The rhino had more of an open style pen :)

Hi Ina,
A great idea to put these two together! I'm not sure why, but the rhino and graffitti go very well together. Nice placement of the rhino too.
I was at the Zoo over Christmas for the free Boxing Day event (crowded) I got some great lion shots and some good ones from the large aquarium. Other than that, most animals were not co-operating.

Very nice contrast of textures and... well! it's my perception... one could find some similitudes between the tag shapes and rhino's profile (especially the horn). Even if the train is not seen in its entirety, the rhino recall the huge moving mass of a train... Beautiful collage.
