Very cool idea!
Would love to see you attempt a few more of these and see if the presentation gets better!
You might also want to try controlling the light for each subject.
This could be as easy as finding a great spot that exposes the subject correctly, and then placing each subject within that location each time.
I do see a lot of potential here, you just need to work on the minor details!
Remember: It's the minor details that can make any photo a major misinterpretation of your feelings!

I like such images, maybe they are not as attractive as fancy modern models , but this is the point of photography, to show the feeling of the photographer, the mysterious soul of yours.
