I really like this shot. Love the crop, the eyes of your subject really stand out. Good job.

I think this is a great shot. And the fog just adds to the overall feel of the shot. Fog is a natural occurrence and this one is not too overbearing. It actually adds depth. Regards, G

Thanks Doyle, one of my personal favorites. Fits along with your own portfolio. Love your animal shots, including the spider. I'll be keeping an eye on your portfolio for inspiration.

Thank you Doyle... I do have another one without the sky so pronounced. If I were to choose one, I guess I would prefer the other one. Regards, g

Beautiful shot. Nice timing with the water receeding showing the crips clarity and reflection of the sky.

I really like the way you have captured the shadow of the cage. It really shows how empty the cage is. G
PS... I love the way you have told the story of your town with you portfolio. Nice images.

I like this composition, but I hope you don't mind, I felt there were some things that were a little distracting from the whole image. I leveled the horizon, and cleaned up some distractions from the water, and the other boat seemed to take away from you main image. Love the way you captured the sails angle.

I would have to agree, this is an amazing shot. Makes you feel like you can almost feel and touch the green grass.

I love this shot. And not because its one of my favorite colors, but because it looks like something I would see in a upscale interior decorating magazine. The block glass behind just adds to the beauty. Worth framing.

And of course... Chicago. My kinda town. Very nice, and clear. Looks like you captured this on a no polution day. Did you get a chance to go to the new Millenium park? Excellent opportunities for unbelievable shots.

This is a really neat photo, excellent colors, and composition, but I really don't understand the shadows on the left walking on the pier.

You are so right, your "The Beach" is wonderful. How many shots did you take to get that perfect one with the waves so straight? Awesome! I have a friend that actually painted this picture she liked it so much. It turned out beautiful. Her husband said it was her best yet. What an honor it was for me. Thanks for your comment. G

You are right...It was close. I was about 100 feet from him. This zoo makes it friendly to get as close as possible to the animals. He was eating something off the tree for at least 20 minutes until another Giraffe came into the picture from the right. Then he got a little possesive with his tree.
