thankyou for the comment, yeah the model is a close friend of mine, and is happy with her scar and tattoo but she mentioned she has never seen herself without the scar so i tought i would try and remove it. it gave me a chance to practice and to show my friend the result.

thankyou i used iso 1600, i put my camera in b/w mode with red filter and high contrast. then my boyf colourized it for the brown tone in photoshop. i think that helped alot with the mood i ahve another that is flat and grey.

Thankyou for the comment.
I used an extension tube with a 50mm lens that is why the focus is very limited, i have done some other macro work where the effect is the same because of the tubes. the tubes only allow for a few millimeters of focus, i thought it worked for this image, i too like the glow around the leaf and the plantpot in the background does compliment it well.
i would have liked to have a little more of the leaf in focus but the end result i am fairly happy with

i love the contrast the white sky compliments the photo is that a wooden house, me never seen a whole house made out of wood, unless you count a shed or tree house. Beautiful photo

i really like this photo. it brings back fond memories. But more for the, wether intentional or not, colour match. Its perfect that the boy in the yellow jumper is falling on to the bed with the yellow quilt, and the spots of colour in the picture on the wall which seems to be watching on, this image is a curators dream. If this was in an exhibition a curator would say 'every visual element in this photograph was intentional' perfect image love it

p.s check out my boyfriends work terry geldard. like you he used to borrow my camera, but he knows how to use it better than me now and as his own camera. he likes to just photograph the world through his eyes too.

Hi I really like this shot, i'm surprised it stayed still. keep up the good shots. meerkat's are one of my favorite animals. i guess thats why i keep ferrets, cause i can't have a meerkat! they are very similar in personality, and for treats ferrets will stand up like meerkats too! thanks for the nice comments on my photos.

a very well timed shot. I've just finished my second year of A level. I didn't enjoy the second year very much. I did the art and design side of it and much of the focus was how well and creative your work was mounted up, I prefer to be creative with the camera and not glue. are you doing the art and design side of photography

There is not a single shot in your portfolio I could say anything bad about. I can tell your very intouch with nature you manage to bring out the best of it in every shot. Beautiful. keep up the hard work.

I like the shot but as a viewer i feel like the fence is leading up to something because it is heading to the top right of the photo it would have been interesting to see something someone intersting standing at the end of the fence
