Was this a candid photo? It's framed so greatly, that seems very hard to believe, I like it alot.

I like this, for some reason it looks upside down. Really neato.

Sandra, this is really great! This is one of my favorite flower shots ever. This one, along with 'Lavender' and 'Purple Petals'. I can't decide if I like it better with the lighter center or not. However, either way its fantastic! All of them are.

Hey Terrence! The sky is great and the foreground is really nice also. However, the trees look so bright they seem superimposed. The statue and the shadow it casts is great and so is the cross. Those are my gripes. Neat photo.

I dont know what this is... But I want to see it really large and in real life.. I think that would be cool and it looks like it has some really neat textures in it but it seems to small to tell. However, it does look really good.

Russ, Thanks alot for the comment. I've never framed any of my photos before... it is just a 5x7 enlargement that I made that is actually sitting inside a notebook with the rest of my photos. Hehe, thanks again, both of you.

You really are great at taking portraits. And also because of your images I've decided to also invest in a canon 1.8 50 mm lens. Not much of an investment since they're so cheap though, thanks once again for sharing. Continue to shoot, please.

I agree with the previous comments, the lighting and mood is really quite unique. You do not see as many portraits with harsh, contrasty lighting like this. It is nice, you exposed it nicely, handled it nicely, blah blah. I like it and thanks for sharing it.

Doh, I mean the portch is too busy as a backround for the subject, not the subjet itself. Pardon

Hey! Thanks for comments, heh. If I had photographed it from the other side, there would be her portch in the photo, which I personally think is way too busy to have as a subject of the photo. Besides, the photo was very quickly taken, snap bamm boom. taa-daa!! Well, Thank you again for your comments, I agree with them and will try to think about things like this more, next time. =)

Thank you for the comments everyone! I guess the dof is just a matter of opinion, when looking at the print, I also desire a tad more dof. James: Sorry!! The vacation was one of those really last minute, were-lucky-to-have-gotten-airplane-tickets things. I flew up there with a friend of mine. Didn't have much time to get a hold of you to ask even of your wise word on what to have a look at while I was up there. OH well! California informs me there will be a next time....

Well, I think that is very very emotional. I dont know how abstract it is, but it really strikes some emotions. Nice job, in that respect.
