Ron, the lens was only at 300 when I was taking this shot. The lens is nice but you have to be really carefull at 400 and on the boat it was almost immposible to get a clear shot at 400 with all the movement. I have tons of bear pictures

Homer Alaska, If you go during the winter months there is an area of the beach on the "spit" where a 80 Year old lady has been feeding them for years. you can't get out of you vehicle but they will land within 10 feet sometimes. it's awsome to see.

Thank you! I wish I could shoot some film for them, that would be so great. I am still amazed at how some B&W film shots turn out, and you would not believe the stuff you are able to see up here.
