Ghostly! Gave me the impression of a double exposure at first.

Makes a good abstract.

Hi Alison. I hope you don't mind but I played with your image. I removed some of the distracting areas and alter the colour and lighting of the face. I hope it is okay.

Hi Judi, Thank you for the comment. There was no more light unfortuneatly just natural day light out in the middle of the ocean..lol I agree thankyou I am sure it would have improved it. Always great to get comments to learn from. Thank you.

HI Ann, Thank you for your comment. Yep the white did worry me but decided not to edit it. It was taken seconds after the "Captain...." one but the sky is so different.
Thank you for constructive advice always great to learn.

Nice character study. A tighter crop to cut out the white background may have helped. Cheers, Ann.

Good angle and capture. Probably a little more light across the face would bring this one right out. You have managed to keep wonderful detail in his face.

Thanks Alison for your comments on my images.

LOL. A good goal, and keeps one clicking.

I think I still need some serious practice and luck before I can get an award. All I have so far are two "comment of the days".

Hopefully we will see you at the HPS again - I always get inspiration from seeing other peoples photos - especially at a place like this.

Good luck with finding new good subjects and getting inspirations...

Hi Alison,

Like that disorder =) The colors are fine, and the frame really improves the image. Most frames don't do that, so you made a good job ;-)

best wishes,

Thilo

Hi Alison. This is a fantastic silhouette. Great colour and composition too. He really looks like he is away in dream land. Very laid back.

Thankyou also for your comment on my photo. It was great to hear from you again. Liz
