Hi Subhash -- I was just looking back through comments on my Liguid Gold pic and realized you had added your own pet jelly lilies for me to enjoy. (Sorry I did not see that sooner -- when I just read the comments through email notices the images do not come in automaticly.) I really DO like what you did and how those lilies turned out!!! Abstract while retaining all the vivid, beautiful color in a free flowing, watery texture and still identifiable as lilies. Do you frame your pictures and put them on a wall?

I love what you do with the flowers, very inspiring, and has me playing with/learning more about filters, very much a rookie, but love looking at your shots.

I really like the playing and think its amazing how you can have the true beauty of the flower with some amazing editing to make this flower look like its just melting away. Beautiful job.

You are so generous with all your thoughtful comments on the orchids, Amy! Thanks!!! I had not thought about the painting on silk but you are right, this does have that feel about it and I like the comparison.

My name is Erik Shea, I had it up there before but thought the E. Shea looked manlier . A local friend pestered me until I changed it. I was hoping that I wouldn't offend you by adding you on there, but I like your stuff and like to be able to see when you post new stuff. I also like meeting and getting opinions on here, its great.

ThanKs E Shea -- what IS your name! Your opinion MATTERS! Thanks for taking the time. I just noticed you added me as a friend and I am honored! I will add you too because this is what it is all about -- learning from each other even though our emphesis might be miles apart and at polar opposite? I still love and recognize skill and artistry wherever I see it and will applaud it.

I am by no means a pro, in fact far from it, but I like the first one better, I like seeing the quills in focus, I like being able to see everything and look around. Some pictures look better to me with smaller DOF, but not this one.. (for me)

That is a really cool idea and turned out really well, the original actually looks very nice as well. You have done some very nice work in PS, Just when you think you are learning you see something totally new and cool and have soo much more to go.

Thanks for your comment, Roberto -- I could not bring up a translation but guessed at the compliment -- something about delicate colors? Anyhow - it took me to your web site and I am highly impressed by the overall clarity of color and quality of your work. I will go back and make some individual comments but I think it will be hard to choose which are the best.

Dear Evelyn, Thank you very very much! I loved what you did with that capture ( happy)! You're an artist! I don't know how to use the PS, and I don't have it. But I would like to learn, as soon as possible. Thanx for your kind comment! It's a pleasure for me knowing you, and sorry for my poor english! Regards, Carla
