Great composition, color and mood. Coincidentally, just yesterday on my drive to work I was noticing the steam and smoke from the various plants and thinking about a photo essay. This time of year because of the cold weather it rises almost vertically on calm days.

I really like this shot. I only rate photos that catch my attention from the thumbnails - this one did. I took a similar shot while visiting a botanical garden near Los Angeles in 1986. It was a "straight" shot on Kodachrome, though. Thanks for the instruction on how you accomplished this 'IR' shot.

Excellent composition and color. I'm trying to decide if cropping a little bit from the top edge might balance the composition a little more. I guess not...
