nice abstract Mark...i love that you can still see the brush strokes within the peeling and cracked paint. it's like seeing a 90 year old man with wrinkle covered baby fat. (ok, that analogy is a stretch...my brain's a little hazy after a rough night last night)

hi Mark.
well, both versions are very different and i like them both. in contrast to Jeanette and MArian, i do prefer this version however...and why i cannot say. the green section really balances things out well in my eyes, and adds a bit of quirkiness to the compo which i like. best wishes,

Water related ... but in an indirect way. The image is of a portion of a folded beach chair, where the fabric is dark blue, and the wooden supports are casting the darker blue shadows.

i always try to guess what these things are and i'm usually never right. at first glance, i thougt you were looking at a swimming pool from above. well, water-related anyway.... beautiful colours mark.

iNteresting indeed. Too bad the pole on the left is a bit off vertical. I like the contrast between the delicate flowers and the rusty fence a lot, though!
